Has anyone run 26" 589's on a Sportsman? I have a HO and don't need more ground clearance, just a litle more traction. I ride year round in Western New York and the Stock tires worked well for me I just want a little more.

If you have run them, new or old style?

Did the 26" change the ride, much?

How did it afect the performance?

Thanks.......

Mark

I put the 589's on when it's needed...muddin,rain season,snow

I have the 589M/S(new style)

Yes it changed the ride some,it's like you can feel each lug hit if your going slow(little bit of a rougher ride)

As for the performance...you can actually feel them digging in
you can crawl through mudholes

Look at the 25" Bearclaw. They fit on the stock rims and give loads mre traction than the stock tires.
