I need a 4x4 sand tire recommendation!
 

I'm in the process of purchasing a new Wolverine 4x4 to be used primarily for trail riding. But Michigan has dunes and I'd like to do the dunes a couple of times a year.

Can anyone make a recommendation on sand tires for a 4x4? When I look at sand tires I see rear paddle with front steering type for the sport quads. But with a 4x4 and a front driving axle, I'm not sure what to do. Ultimately I'll put on the Warn 424 front axle disconnect but I'm not there yet.

Any advice is appreciated!

Just drop the air pressure in the stockers. I have run my blackwaters reversed on my 4x4 foreman and they work fine. You will not get the performance of a sport quad. The 4x4's are just too heavy but you can have fun.

I run my Mudlites at the dunes on my 4x4 Scrambler and my 250 4x4 Explorer. They work very well. Much bettert than the stock Titan crap that came stock on these bikes. I am waiting on a set of Sandstars for the rear of my Scrambler though. They are the same size as my Mudlites so I can still use 4x4. The Mudlites really are great in sand, but there is no better replacement for paddles.
