ok, who has a cell phone provider that works at Glamis? I have Sprint and my wife has Verizon and niether work worth crap when we are out there. just wondering if anybody else has had better luck.

I have ATT GSM, works out in glamis. I swear this is the worst service Ive ever had but supposedly they just extended our home area all the way to Yuma from San Diego.

 

The only cell phone service I've seen work is nextel...but not that great...

 

I have Sprint also. Mine works but not that great. I have to switch to analog mode to make the call. It also kills my battery within a couple of hours. I need to buy a car charger for it.

 

I have T-mobile and it works perfect

 

I've got AT & T and it seems to work pretty good out there.

They built a new cell tower right by the glamis store. I know cingular and sprint get great service there

 

really?? I was just there a few weeks ago and my sprint service sucked!

 

I was there last week and my Verizon worked get.

 

for the first time ever, I did manage to get a signal from the store and vendor flats, but couldn't get anything from the Loop, pad 2 1/2,3,4 or Gecko Road for that matter. If I stood on one foot-touching my left toe-with one arm in the air I could get a signal on my buddy's Nextel. makes you wonder..... back in the "old days" what did we do.... no dvd players, PS-2's, wireless air cards, direct TV, or cell phones....... just the over-the-bed "Lance" camper and Uncle Joe's home made buggy and if you were lucky the little ATC that could flip on flat ground- lol. not that I am a luxury queen, just hate being cut off from the world for extended periods of time. Had Sprint for years now, but I spend so much time out there I would like to get a phone that works out there, that's why I brought the topic up. Sooooooo, I have heard that T-Mobile is good and Nextel is good (sometimes), and the others are hit & miss, I just know that out of many trips this season, no dice with Verizon or Sprint (from ANY of our locations)
