TextMy family and I will be there on those same dates. We're leaving Portland, OR Friday evening (June 14) and should be pulling into Desert Oasis around 1 or so in the afternoon on the 15th. This will be our fist time, so look for us and stop by and say HI! We have a 2000 F-350 supercab red Ford with a 33 ft. Tahoe ToyHauler. I have the new Z400, my husband has a 2000 white, red and black Banshee and my daughter has an Eton 90. Any info on your favorite areas would be great! Are there many trails to ride there? Take care, Tracy

RW660, and Z400Chick;
My friend and I will also be at the Sand hills resort from June 18th (tue night) to the 22nd (Sat morn).

We will be in a purple Toyota extra cab, camping out in a tent.
We will both be riding highly modified 250R's.
His 87' with white plastic and a red tank,
Mine an 88' all red.

Stop by if you get a chance.

don't expect much water in the lake. everything is pretty low. most of the lakes around the area are already below 50% compacity. The dunes are a blast to ride tho. You'll have a blast.

2 fun, do you have a problem running short on fuel when you stay at Sand Hills? I looked at a map and it sure seems like it's a long ways from Egin Lakes and Desert Oasis. Where are the other two that are going on the same week staying? Has anyone camped at Egin Lakes before?

from Sand Hills resort to Devils Dune which is the farthest dune is about 15 miles, to Thunder Mtn. it's about 6, it's a fun ride though.
