Thanks Specta. I have changed my plans. It will still be a week long ATV trip, but not across the Tushars, and not that same week.

Gooseberry 9/27/2016

Fall is my favorite time of year here. Especially for the Gooseberry.

Today, there is still 75" of snow in the Tusher Mountains.

Yikes!!! Did Hoovers get flooded again?

Have never seen anything like that the three times we've been out.

New owners. Its not anything like it used to be.

You order at the counter and go pick your food up and they add a gratuity to your ticket.

I don't know anybody who has eaten there. The old owner Arlan runs the cafe at Big Rock now.

We got a lot of snow this year and the runoff just make creek crossing funner.
This was the second of three crossing the same creek and was the deepest and swiftest.
This is my good friend with his granddaughter in back. He got his butt wet crossing this one.

We still have snow on some north facing slopes.

Our state flower the Sego Lily. It played a part in the history of the early Mormon Pioneer settlers back in the 1840s.

Great pics, I rode the 01 last September, 300 miles. I used Marysvale as my home base, nice couple that owned a BB and some cabins.

We'll have to eat at the Big Rock then. We had most our meals there when Hoovers got flooded out last year.
