I've only been ice fishing a couple of times but I had fun. It's 67 degrees here in Michigan so ice hasn't even crossed my mind. I like it when I don't have to run the furnace or A/C and I don't look forward to winter like I used to.

I've been liking the cooler temps. This morning was quite frosty.

Spent last weekend on the ice. One of the fish I caught that's pictured is a 29" 7lb pike.

That's a nice looking pike and it's good that you're able to get out there. I don't even know if we have ice around here yet.

Nice pike!!!

Ice is good here other than in spots where there are springs or moving water. Saw some kids playing hockey on a local pond. Fond memories.

Thanks. We have about a foot of ice. The warm temps this week won't help it but I don't think we'll lose enough to keep me home next weekend. We have a lot of people skating & playing hockey around here. The ice conditions for it are perfect for it this year.

Nice Northern. Been having real good luck on a local farm pond here. Ice has been a good 9" thick and some of the lakes in the northern part of the state are 12". Time to make a trip with the4 wheeler up there.

Well this was the shortest ice fishing season I've ever seen. Only 8 weeks long. Here's a pic of my wheeler showing it on the ice in the snow on 2/18 and a week later on 2/25 when it was 70 degrees and I knew it was over. Might as well start putting the gear away and get ready for riding season.
