Need info on 2004 Polaris Sportsman 500 ho
 

I went riding a week ago and got into some thick mud and my cv axle boot busted and then destroyed my axle. It was hard to get the axle out but im having a harder time getting the new one to start in the splines in the hub? Is there any tricks or is just hard?
