What do you guys use to haul a couple of utility ATVs around?

I have seen some folks use landscaping trailers, with one atv sideways accross the front, but that looks like it would be tough to get on and off the trailer.

Anything that would put two nose to tail needs to be at least 14' long, and that seems like a lot of wasted space.

A 6x12 without sides, or a side and end ramp would be ideal (for the right price, obviously!).

What do you use?

a 14' landscaping trailer the only time I have to turn them sideways is when i'm hauling them all if im only taking 2 i load them on nose to tail then just strap gear on the sides of the trailer plus i have a storage box mounted permanently to the front of the trailer to store helmets and tools and more gear in.

Use an old Pop-up camper that was striped. Put new paint job on her with new flooring. Have toolbox mounted to front, plenty of gas can's fit between fender wells and 2 quads fit comfortably.

There used to be a guy down here that built trailers out in his barn. Went and got a flat, single axle 5x10 trailer for 400 bucks. Loaded one across the front (axle set back enough to make that possible) and one straight in from the back. Slid the ramp underneath the back one and tied everything down. Never had any issues with it at all.

I use a 12x101" snowmobile trailer. I added some eyebolts to it to tie down the quads. I can fit 3 full size quads either 2 straight in and 1 sideloaded or 3 sideloaded.

I use a 5' x 13' dovetail fits 2 quads and a grill perfect.

I use a 2up Triton aluminium tilt bed snowmobile trailer.

I use a small 6x8 trailer from a home build it yourself kit..... I did not build it but bought it for $150 bucks a few years ago......

Problem is that most of those have a 1,200 pound limit, so two Utes will generally be too heavy. I carry two sport machines and gear with no problems however.

I was given a 4 position sno mobile trailer and I cut 5' off of it and now easily haul 2 Grizzly's side by side, sideways with room for another at the front. It works great. It has the golf cart tires on it with tandem axles. The only thing that I intend to change is the decking. It currently has plywood and I am going to switch to grating so that the mud falls through it.

I went with Moose's suggestion with the 101 width. If you are only worried about transporting 2 util's it can be only 8, 10 or 12' foot in length. I agonized over trailers for a long time wanted it small as possible as most of the time it will transport 2 Util's but I needed the option for two more sports. I decided to go a little bigger and be able to transport f 4 full size util's. I went with a 101x16 Tritan Elite Snowmobile trailer pictured below. When using it for just two they go on nose to tail, it is working out well, easy load/unload with the drive on/drive off capability. I have enough tie down spots for 4 corners of each of 4 quads and extra tie downs for a final safety chain.
