Default Trying to buy ATV

I have been trying to buy a ATV for a month now. I am finding that on Craigslist that people are advertising in a area, however they have the machine on the other side of the US. Almost all of these people say they are in the military and are leaving for Iraq. They will ship the quad to me and I get to inspect it and decide if I want it. They use ebay for the transaction for security. Does anyone know anything about this type of deal. Sounds fishy to me!

99.9% of the time, it's a scam.

Of course, you can always tell them you're an Ethiopian prince that has 10 million dollars that you'd be more than happy to share with them if they would just send you their banking information.

Haha, I have actually done that. They, ironically, got upset and sent me a not so nice reply. I just replied back "Now you know how we feel".
