Funny that I saw this, I just recently witnessed an Eagle in the water, and for no apparent reason other than to be in the water. I got some still pictures, but it was so far away, they aren't the best. But I witnessed the eagle fly to a stump, climb down into the water and just float around, then flew over to another stump climb down, and proceeded to do the same thing...although I had to leave and get to work!
