I can't stress saftey enough!
 

This past weekend a few coworkers,friends etc. attended an annual ATV poker run. All was fun until the last 500 yards of 22 miles ended in disaster. One of my coworkers/plant manager took a nasty spill totaling his sportsman and nearly died. Fortunately he was wearing a helmet and only suffered three fractured vertebrae in his neck. Without the helmet he'd probably be a vegetable. He is not paralyzed but a long road to recovery is ahead. I would like to say it was just an unfortunate accident, but alcohol (liquid courage) was involved and I'm sure was a major contributing factor in this case. ATV's= good time, A little brew is fine. But combined is not so fine. I have preached about alcohol and ATV's don't mix well and here's the proof. Fortunately I haven't lost a friend and I hope he'll learn from this experience since life has given him a second chance. And I hope this message will help change someone else's life as well. Wear a helmet, be sober when riding and be safe!!!!
