Went for a ride on the motorcycle today and when I passed this at around 65 mph, I did a WTF and had to turn around to see if I really saw what I thought I saw.

 

That's too funny. Looks like someone had some time on their hands.

 

One more reminder of The dangers of getting drunk and trying trying to play The frog in frogger on dark highways at night. But hey at least he held on to his beer til The end. Ha-ha

That is actually a pretty common sight in the southern states, especially Texas and other desert areas where the armadillo is common, they have a rather strange reaction to fright, they jump 1-2 feet in the air before rolling up or trying to dig down and hide their heads and underbelly, not a good stratagy when being straddled by a 18 wheeler......
You usually see them along Texas highways with a bottle of Lone Star propped in their stiff little paws, kind of a local running joke. Buddy of mine used to drive in that area, sometimes you see several all lined up with different bottles and cans , have to admit, it is a little funny !!

 

He did it wrong. You are supposed to hand the beer to your buddy before saying"Hey, watch this!"

 

If I remember right, "Hey, watch this!", is in the ATVers Dictionary.

 

If you've ever said, "Hold my beer and watch this!" . . . you might be a redneck.

 

Was a pancake flat armadillo in the street by the house the other day. Today, there's a fluffier but just as dead one about 3 feet away from the first.

Not sure if he was checking on his friend, or going back after the beer.
