Finally Honda did it!

There putting diff lock on there ATV ,at least the foreman for now. Their even advertising the feature like its some kind of new invention. 2014 Honda TRX500 Foreman ATV Review of Specs / 2014 Foreman Release Date / 2014 Foreman Video & More! | Honda of Chattanooga

TraxLok lets you switch between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive with the push of a button. Need even more traction? Now in really tough situations you can lock the front differential solid, driving full power to all wheels—a real benefit in rocky, swampy, or uneven terrain.
No kidding , most manufacturers figured that out 12 years ago. LOL
Next will be a rear hydraulic disc brake one year.

Same thing on the Honda pwc. Honda waited for years after every other maker had one before they came out with their own. After seeing all the other water craft and their problems, theirs still gave the Honda techs I talked to fits on the first ones out..

I remember when they Finally introduced selectable 2wd/4wd in 2003,when every one had it in the mid 90s.
There the last lovers of the Drum brake though, even the kiddy ATVs don,t use them anymore.

Honda doesn't have to prove anything to anyone, the proof is in the Name

MooseHenden 07-17-2013 05:36 PM

They make good toys?

Seriously, the point is that Honda is behind the times as far as quads go. Points have been made above that show Honda's lack in having cutting edge products, ATV-wise. It is refreshing to see them make a change that amounts to more than new plastics. Would love to see more but a full locker in the front is a good direction that they are heading in and hopefully will lead to more positive changes.

Not saying they don't make a good product, but youtube also brought us Justin Bieber.
