I have a Honda atc and we fixed the pull cord on it now it seems to have timing problems how do we fix it do we have to take the engine out and redo the timing?

 

So...not knowing much about the ATC200...looking at a parts fiche and I don't see the relation of changing the pull starter rope impacting the flywheel/pulse generator (timing)...probably on 2 different sides of the motor...


Now on a sled, the pull rope is connected to the flywheel, but flywheel removal is not required to install a new complete recoil assembly...so timing is never impacted...


Why do you think you have a timing issue?
