Question What is a good price for this ATV?

I have a 2014 Honda Rancher Fourtrax 420, fully automatic, 4x4 or 4x2, with a Warn winch attached, rims and a new battery. It has just over 400 hours 2083 miles. Its in great condition besides a crack in the plastic where the foot rests, but is purely cosmetic. I've been getting a lot of people saying my asking price is too high, I was asking $4,300 and giving room to negotiate but ppl are low-balling me. Is this a good price, or if not what is? (sorry for the sideways pic)

There were several 2014 FourTrax Rancher 4X4 models listed at nada.com. For this 420 it says Low Retail $3,580, Average Retail $4,710. Not including the winch and wheels, or subtracting anything for the cracked plastic. The value may be different when you put your ZIP code in.

I agree, the asking price is ok in my opinion, if you are willing to negotiate. Stick to you guns, you'll find the right buyer in time.

If you tell people how much less than NADA price you're asking for it, maybe they'll quit trying to get you to go lower. I doubt it, but it's worth a try. They may be the same people who think they should get the same price for a 10+ year old ATV as what they paid for it new.

price is pretty reasonable to me... people always want something for nothing. I was selling a tent last year that was worth about $800 never opened. Was asking 200 for it and people were offering me walmart pricing and trying to get it for $50. I just told them if they want a walmart tent go to walmart. Funny enough a 15 year old kid gave me a few $$ lest than what i wanted and way extremely happy.

It depends too on what other people are asking for something similar. A lot of other people will ask way less than nada value to sell quickly. So in a way you're sort of competing with them. And then you have dealers with brand new old stock which would now be 2017 models and might only be asking not a lot more for a new model. But people forget all those fees that get tacked onto buying a new model. That $5500 advertised price for instance ends up becoming $7000 by the time you get finished. If you add on all the extras that your atv already has, then you'd have to add quite a bit more on top of that.
