Default Carb help

i have what I think is a TM36 carb from what I can find. I'm looking for an idle screw but I'm getting a lot of different types. Anyone know which one I need?

Here's a couple different ones. Both show #49 for the spring #50 for the idle adjuster if this is your style carb.https://www.jetsrus.com/carburetor/c...iew_parts.html Mikuni TM36-68 Exploded View - Replacement Parts Listing

That's not the exact one but I don't know carbs well enough to tell what parts are interchangeable. I tried an idle screw off of a vm22 round slide and the threads were bigger than the hole. Let me see if I can get a picture on here.

Several different versions on the TM36(if that is what you have) and like you found out other carb parts won't work. You might try this image search to see if you can trace it down.https://www.google.com/search?q=tm36...h=744&dpr=1.25

I'm pretty sure I have a TM36-2. It came in top and sidle idle screw adjusters. I need the side idle screw. I did find out though supposedly this is a four stroke carb. I've had it for awhile laying around, so I was going to use it on my trailblazer 250 when I do my build...
