I have a CD called Punk You!, Vol. 1: Music for the Discerning Slacker Punk. It's by various artists and as far as I've seen there's never been a Punk You!, Vol. 2. One of the songs is The Attack of the Giant Ants, from the first Blondie album, called Blondie, that came out in 1976. If you're reading this I'll warn you right now, don't listen to it. I'll repeat that in case you missed it. Don't listen to it. It was stuck in my head for days the last time I played the CD. I was mean and played it for one of my friends. A couple of the song titles went well with the names of the bands; (Get A) Grip (On Yourself) also known simply as Grip by The Stranglers; and Homicide by 999, which is the British equivalent of 911.

The first 8 songs on this playlist are from Jeff Beck's Wired album from 1976. Music sure has gone downhill in the last 42 years. Jeff Beck won 8 Grammy Awards, including the very last Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance ever given to anyone, presented in 2011. He won a Grammy the year before too.

Yep. I was seeing if a new account would have the same problems I was having with the old one. When this account started working right (except for not playing videos) the old account was deleted anonymously. Shh. Don't tell anybody.

 

There is something seriously wrong with my brain. When I got a package of Havarti cheese out of the fridge I had "my girl likes Havarti all the time, Havarti all the time, Havarti all the tiiime" going through my mind, to the tune of Eddie Murphy's song Party All The Time. Just for the heck of it I searched for "my girl likes Havarti all the time" on YouTube to see what would happen. It took me right to a page with links to the song! So there's something wrong with YouTube too, or it knows people have already searched for Havarti all the time. In that case, other people have something wrong with them.
