Yamaha Breeze 125 Automatic won't go forward
 

I just bought my son a 2000 Yamaha Breeze 125 for his first 4-wheeler. When I bought it, it wasn't running so I put in a new ignition, new spark plug, and new battery. I got it running but it is idling high, that is an easy fix i believe. However, when I put it in forward it does not move when I hit the throttle. It doesn't do anything or make any noise when you put it in gear. It does go in reverse and move in reverse. Any help anybody has would be greatly appreciated.
