polaris ranger vs. yamaha rhino hahaha

Here's what I don't understand. For the price of these things, you could get a good used Jeep. Street legal, faster, more powerful, and you can get things like a/c for those hot, buggy summer days. If that's too big, maybe a Samurai. I can't see spending that much money for what's basically an off-road golf cart.

I purchased the ranger for farm work...rock picking...spreading seed (because i can haul alot more seed in the bed then i can on the quad) plus if its wet it dosnt tear things up in the field...like my tractors do....plus its nice with the cab and heater and plow i can clean out around the barns and small areas easier then i can with my truck and tractor......and when we go riding i let my dad use it and that way him and my mom can ride together...
the rhino wasnt out when i bought it...plus i got one heck of a deal on it.........or i would have givin the rhino a shot....
my friend has a mule ...and hasnt had any problems....but my ground is so spread out that i would be losing time traveling...its just as easy to get in the ranger and go to each piece of ground 10 miles away..and it goes plenty fast to get there in a decent time..rather then hooking up a trailer and trailering it farm to farm.....thats the only down fall i can see by the mule.....
for what i bought the ranger for it works great and exceded my expectations....
im not bashing anything...there all good utilitys.....kubota...ranger, rhino...mule...there all good...they all have there pros and con's....i just couldnt do what i can with these utilitys ..with a jeep or samuri

That's right, they want you to buy a polaris, so they make a video which is biased for the ranger. What motive would they have showing ANY of the advantages the other side X sides have? The video is indeed rigged, and don't believe anything the dealers say. Go do your own hands on test to see which one really is for you. The rhino is badass, with more power than the ranger, but it is smaller. The mule is slow, but built good. I personally thought the overall fit and finish of the ranger was poor and cheap, but thats JMO.
The suspension of the rhino is superior. It will go places the others won't (size). It has the most horsepower, and is pretty stylish.
I will say the new ranger with 700cc's and independent rear suspension sounds interesting.

I cant believe you guys are picking on the Polaris video, do you guys watch TV? Listen to the car comercials and the wording...'most available torque','most standard HP', ours is best at this. Of course Brand X is going to make their product look good in certain situations, thats advertising!

That is advertising, but it is also misleading. That is why I said to go do your own hands on test of all the different brands. That is the best way to know what is best for you.

I'm not trying to argue, its just that advertising KILLS me, especially car dealerships with their discounts that nobody can qualify for (but thats another rant).
I, like everyone, want to see proof. Both Polaris and Yamaha have in print they they each have 'the highest power-to-weight ratio' of any 4-stroke quad. See my pic page for Polaris' claim, see the back of the current issue of Dirt Wheels for Yamahas claim.

Check this sh*t out!
eBay Tracker ATV
Swear to God, it's not mine! But at least I'm not the only one who thinks the Ranger, Rhino, Gator things are overblown golf carts

With mods(cdi and weights), a rhino WILL do over 60. Watch out code45, implying that a yamaha might be better at anything is gonna cause problems.
