What's a 03 Ranger worth?
 

A friend of mine is selling his Ranger. 4x4 with 167 hours on it. It has brush guards, winch, and ITP wheels. Tires are original and will need replacing within a year or so. He wants 8000 (which I think is WAY overpriced)
KBB trade is 4120, KBB retail is 5975.
NADA is 3800-5000.
I want to make him an offer, but I think that 4500-5000 will insult him.
Any opinions??? Thanks

you also need to look at the price of the extras I know a winch pre05 had to be mounted to a special spot and cost around 750.00 without including the labor. then you have the brush bumper and ITP wheels, those items are not considered in the bluebook or whatever you might of used. 8000 might be a little high but look at everything before you go to low on the bid.
