The Whole RTV/UTV thing
Hey Gents and ladies, I am selling my sport quad and thinking about getting another one, Before I did I wanted to ask about the whole RTV/UTV thing. I am 6'2 230 lbs and wanted to know if I would even fit in one. Has anyone here sold their sport quads to get a UTV/RTV and how do they like them compared to the sport quad in terms of fun to ride?

The Whole RTV/UTV thing
All of the above, big, sold my new KQ,and bought a Rhino, will not go back.Great experience in the woods and trails. The Rhinos footprint follows the KQ most every where easliy. The use of the Rhino gives me more fun and opportunity than a quad every did.You can carry tools, clean the yard, carry a friend,etc.etc....for me its the way to go! More of a family vehicle.Make sure you get the one that you need for your use. I like the Rhino, because its closet to a reg ATV(footprint)

I went from Jeeps to Honda quad to Kawasaki mule, to Kazuma Mammoth. Wife and I love the side x sides, as we can carry tools, food, beverages, towels, spare clothes and not be crowded.. Plus, (My wife is a geologist) we go places and might stay out there for 6-7 hours. so it allows us to carry a shade tent as well. The foot pedal is easier on this old man then the thumb throttle, and the gear shifters are easier to operate as well. We will never have a quad again, but will stay with the side x side.

Make sure you 'drive' one off road before you buy. I did and I will either ride my ATV or drive my Jeep. Both are more fun for me than the Rhino I drove. I have never driven a RZR but that might work for me.

Oh we drove several, many times. from the rhino, to the mule, to a ranger, bought a mule 610 but the 400 cc just wasnt enough in the mountains of Colorado. So we sold it and bought the Mammoth. Going back to colorado in The Fall...
