Atv overheating and transmission trouble
I just bought a automatic quad and when ever I go to shift my quad with the hand clutch the quad stops moving for some reason it's weird I asked my mechanic and he just laughed at me and didn't help with the hand clutch stoping the quad when ever I pull it and I also took out the spark arrester because I'm told spark arresters cause fires the only other upgrade I did was removed the radiator so that my quad can be air cooled instead now I'm wondering if I should remove some of the plastics because the engine gets super got now even if I'm going fast the only problem is a already sold the radiator to my friend so should I remove all the plastics or get a bucket of water and dump it on the engine when very it gets hot???

IF you notice the cylinders on air cooled engines the fins are wide spaced for air movement to cool the engines. Water cooled engines fins are closer spaced as the cylinder has water jackets for coolant to move to cool the engine. You can't change one engine to act like another. Replace the radiator and while you're at it put the spark arrestor back in. Using a ... every now and then makes posts a little more readable and not a tangled mess also.
