Default anyone have an m4 .223

i am looking at an m4 .223 assault rifle for plinking and hunting coyotes and skunks. i am thinking bout the bushmasters as they are cheaper and people who have them are satisfied. also was looking at the smith and wesson and colt models but they are alot more spendy. any info would be very useful on what to look for.

Not an m4 version, but very happy with my Bushmaster. About 10 years now and absolutely trouble free.

I just picked up a Stag Arms #1 today. I hope to get out to the range and run it through its paces soon. Check-em out @Stagarms.com

I also have a couple DPMS one an AP4 and the other A-2 type Panther Classic. Both have been flawless.
Bushmaster & Rock River are also fine in my book. Go for it.

I have built my own and also own DPMS and Bushmaster. I prefer building as opposed to buying because you get more for your money. Also I assume you know you cannot get a real M4, and these are Modern Sporting Rifles not Assault Rifles. I know this sounds like nit picking but the more we show these are used for a multitude of purposes and get away from the "assault rifle" terminology the better.

Agree mnhntr that term is only used by the media. Also my earlier post above yours isn't true anymore. Had a breakin in October and the two AR's besides others were taken out of a steel safe. I replaced one with a Bushmaster XM-15.

Didn't we all lose our rifles in a tragic boating accident?
