1988 Yamaha Champ 100 bogs down
Hello all,
I have a 1988 Yamaha Champ 100. It sat for several years in the yard. I pulled the carb and soaked it in carb cleaner. After I reinstalled it, the ATV cranked up and ran fine (it did smoke a bit but I figured it needed a ring job). The kids spent a day riding around that yard with no problems. However, the following day while it was riden it started bogging down when it was throttled. It would idle fine, but would bog down and die when throttled. I replaced the plug with no results. So I pulled the carb and cleaned it again. It will start and idle fine. I can adjust the carb with no problems, but when I give it throttle it bogs down and dies. Any suggestions?
