No Edit Sig in User CP

Default No Edit Sig in User CP
I'm trying to edit my sig and don't see the Edit Signature in the User CP like described in the help on how to add a signature

It will appear after you reach a certain number of posts. Spammers like to post various links for advertising there.

So I'm assuming your saying there is no way to add a sig unless it's manual for each post or reply?

I'm basically referencing this article. The first poster has a good sig which I would like to use for myself.

When you go to the User CP, you don't see the Settings and Options section on the left? Under that should be your edit signature tab.

I can't remember if it's a 10 post count to get that or not.
