Is the choke on the carb itself like the 400ex? Or is it a rod mounted by the handle bars that pulls a cable?

Thanks

It's a yellow lever. There is a black round piece of plastic hiding a spring.

I had the same problem with my recon. I had some of the vent tubes that hung low and come of the carb clogged. It caused fuel to go into my crank and made my oil level very high. Its a blow buy system and was choking my bike out. especially when wet. Had to wait a couple of minutes and it would start right up. Look in your oil and see if you smell fuel. It will be hard to see on your dip stick due to the fuel being clear.

Ok, Here's an Update.

I've cheked the choke plate -----> It's Ok
Changed the CDI Box -----> Still bogging

The Connection going into the Box looks alright but should I still change the harness since I've bought a new one.

BTW, When I take apart some connection near the solenoid that are coming out from the engine, I'm reading 2 V. Is it the pulse generator voltage? Is it allright?

What exactly is your problem? Does the problem sound like the engine is cutting out or poppingor does it sound like your reverse limiter kicking in? At what position is your throttle at during the problem? Just try to discribe your problem the best you can and I will try to help you.

Damn, I bought a coil, a CDI BOX, A solenoid, A wiring harness just to found out that is was only my reverse switch who was kicking in
