Pretty much what is says, I am finishing up my 89 Zilla and an now in search of a new project. I am leaning toward a 250r frame with something like a 400+cc big bore kit, or something like the Genesis 425. http://atvscene.com/evaluations/psi-425-r.htm

I am looking for about 70+hp and less than 375lbs wet. The bike will be used mostly for sand and asphalt drag racing.

I would have to agree with DaBeechMan on this one, lots less fabrication and you would be surprised how much power is able to be unlocked in those motors. Just look at his bikes!

A 250R with a big bore kit would be the best choice. Without a doubt.

get a 250r, drop an Alky power valve 370 in it and you will be amazed.

I would stay away from the really exotic heads like the genesis, I think DaBeech brought up a good point a month ago about the longevity of companies creating these wild kits.

I think you got me wrong Rob. I have a genesis motor. They are very well built cylinders. You cant take away from the fact that the psi motors make some good power. Its just the financial side that the business put itself in is what may worry some people. Wiseco owns the rights to the pistons, so thats not the issue. But if a cylinder is to break, psi has full rights to that cylinder, and nobody would be able to get them afterwards.

The alk 370's dont have a long lifespan. Maybe 1-5 hours max. The piston skirts are too thin on the pro-x motors and when the cold alk hits the warm piston it causes piston breakage across the skirts and out of the intake windows. If you DO do a pro-x motor and want to run alk id stay away from the stroker motors and under 350cc's

The Suzy is lame and the 250r with a big bore kit is the same ol same ol. The 250r with the CR500 engine would be cool if you could take care of the vibration problems.
