We have had the Quad for about 3 months now it has worked great up untill this past Sunday, When riding and we come to a complete stop and let go of the throttle its dies on us, but it starts back up fine we just have to give it some gas to keep it running, I checked to make sure that the gas dial is set to "ON" and it is, but I can't seem to figure it out why it dies when we let go of the throttle at a stop, I don't know much about how these engines work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

Have you tried to adjust the Carb?

Have you ever come short on oil? It happened on my ol' quadsport 230. I one day came short on oil. The head was ripped and the cam was jamming when I was letting the throttle off so I had to give it some gas to let him alive. Is your 250EX still as much powerful than when you bought it?

 

Yes actually it still feels strong.

 

Ok, probably a carb prob in that case

 

u probly need 2 turn the idiol up on it or u can check the carb

 

Ever clean the air filter? If so adjust the idle.
