My hunch is that I am going to prefer the Honda frame, and the Yamaha engine???????????

 

I'm going to have to say the YFZ mainly becuase it exists and the Honda 450 does not.

I'm more of a honda fan, but I rode the yamaha and have to say it is gonna be tuff to top. I have a feeling honda is gonna gear theirs more towards woods riders offering reverse, easier to use power band, ect. , but who knows. If anyone can build a better bike honda can. As soon as I rode that Yammy though I wanted to buy one. In my opinion it is the best sport bike EVER. BAR NONE. I almost went up and bought one but am forcing myself to wait for the honda. I'd be really pissed if I bought the yammy and the Honda was nicer. By the way I dont even care abou reverse on A bike as light as these. In my opinion if you need reverse then your not experienced enough to have a bike with this kinda power.

 

is it just me or does the new 450 look like the polaris predator and yamaha raptor. designers aren't getting very creative with this.

 

I think the GasGas Wild 450 is gonna be the best. Sorry just had too do it because I always route for the little guy, but out of those 2 I pretty much think its gonna be pick your color and ride. To tell you the truth not too many people run either of those motors in GNCC.

i'm not saying this is accurate information but i saw a test of the gg450 in a mag and they said that the motor felt very similar to the cannondale and the yfz motor is stronger that the c-dale right? and the gg also weighs more

 

I don't really think the GG450 will be better, I beleive they are all going to pretty even. Thats why I'm keeping my Cannondale and not jumping the life raft just yet. But when the time comes I will probably replace the Cannondale with the GasGas. JMHO, everyone is entitled too their own. There is no superior quad, its all about riding what you like and if you think the Yamaha is better than the Honda, then it is and if you think Honda's the best, then it is.

Lets put it this way, Scrambler, what makes you think the GasGas wont be as good as the rest?

Stock for Stock, the Cannondale is faster than the YFZ..
But Piped the YFZ has a pretty good advantage
