i don't know i like the ds but there too hevey, probley buy a raptor or a already built 400 on ebay.

I wouldnt buy a pre-built 400. A lot of people build them up, ride the hell out of them, and then sell them. Your better off buying a bike that is stock and then building it yourself, that way you know 100% what has been done to it. Raptors are VERY nice [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Just paid $3500 for mine - felt like it was a fair deal considering I knew the original owner and how he took care of it. Also has 1 year of extended warranty remaining on it.

 

I've seen new 03's going for 4600-4700 out the door so I would think about 3500-3700 if it's in excellent condition,with a few nice mods.

 

DSandman- I listed mine for $4500 and will go down from there. I think that guys on the east coast get way better deals then is over here. We are still paying 4999-5400 for new 400ex's here in Oregon. here is a pic of mine so you can maybe compare 400ex 4-sale

 

you know somthing, i see that one in the cycle trader every week and say "man i wish i could get that one" I really like yours!! you want to trade, mines a year newer.

look at my sig, the cdi is on the way, and i have a brand new set of 20x10x8 8p haulers on the way. its yellow with stock exhaut, but it will take a lot of piped 400's up comp. if you have any question please ask, man that would be so cool if would do this!!!!
