rear sprocket removal

I am having alot of trouble removing the rear sprocket on my 300 ex. Any help will be greatly apprieciated.

I assume you removed all of the bolts, right? Try loosening the chain all of the way. If you are going to put a new one on anyways, just hit it with a hammer.

it's all to do with the way ya hold ya tongue!!..

use a decent allen key and ring spanner....might add bit of degreaser or something to the nut....sometimes it helps to do the nut up a bit first?!....sounz weird but it works.......or tap the ring spanner with a hammer (on the nut of course, other wise a loud painful noise will occur )....had success with that process before....just remove those nuts and it should slide over the spindle and the hub volla

ok now i got it off. but the chain is too big. I cant seem to find my master link do i have one?

Nope if it is the stock chain there is no master link.

I used a impast wrench for the sprocket and a grinder to cut off the chain. impacts are cool.....like the way they sound...lol
