ES plowing & shifting
#1
Folks - I am thinking of purchasing an 02 450ES. I will mostly use the unit for plowing snow & general farm chores. The machine has a 60" straight blade with an electric lift kit.
My concern is shifting with the left thumb and also operating the electric lift...... Does anyone have any experience w/ this setup and if so, is it a royal pain in the a$$ shifting back and forth and operating the plow ??
Thanks fer your inputs!!!

I know that going between reverse and second and back to reverse, isnt the slickest, I think the wheelers with automatics are much more suited for shifting back and forth.
Because of the block of buttons, on the left side of handlebar, the winch up an down has to be mounted quite low, and your hand may have to come off the grip to activate it.
Foremans are strong and will push a 60 incher no problem.
