atv won't idle
 

I recently bought a 2000 Honda 450S from a friend. It sat for two years with a full tank of gas in it. It will run but when I come to a stop the engine will usually die. Any suggestions to what I can do????

clean the tank, clean the fuel intake ( screen, shutoff valve) . put in new gas. give it a try, run it around for a while. try sdjusting the idle , check the spark plugs. if your lucky you will not have to do the carb. but i dont think you will be that lucky.
