you could..... but I would not ride it with the choke on.
the best thing you could do to your engine is allow it to warm up.

riding with the choke on will create an overly rich condition (too much unburned fuel) which in theory could pass by the the piston ring an wash away lubricant (oil).

now , will this do harm in a short run or not.... who knows?
If you are not in a hurry , just wait a minute or two , may be flex those joints (bone that is ) in the mean time. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
