Rincon vs. Rubicon
#1
I originally had my ATV choice between a Polaris and a Honda. However, after reading, riding and listening to sales pitches I have settled on the Honda. I have only one problem...I am trying to choose between a Rincon and a Rubicon. I will be using the ATV for plowing, pulling a 57 inch rough cut mower, and for playing. About 75% work and 25% play. I love both quads but it seems to me, from what I have read and heard, the Rubicon would be the better choice. However I like the larger engine size of the Rincon! I am not sure which way to go. Can any one help?
Thanks,

Try to ride each of them before you buy. The Rubicon is more utility oriented while the Rincon will do a little bit of everything. If it were me I would go for the Rincon......the extra power and switchable 2-4wd is enough for me.

I have jumped on those ponys and like them both. That is why I am having difficulty choosing. Some people mention that the down side to the Rincon is the lack of a low gear. But if you use the ESP you should get the same results. Maybe I am wrong!

yes if it wasme i would go with the rubicon because they have been out a little longer and it has a great pulling power ! the rincon transmission is a 3 speed and it doesn't have a low of a gear as the rubicon ! rubicon all the way

The Rubicon is much more suitable for work than the Rincon. That is not to diminish the Rincon, it is simply designed for long distance comfort. If you are really interested in a work horse, the Foreman is Honda's mini tank. Look under it and compare it's frame to the Rubicon or Rincon. More beef in the Foreman and the Foreman has switchable 2WD-4WD.

I have a Rincon, and is is great for riding and doing some work. Can't beat the ride. But if you are doing more work than play, I would agree that the Rubicon is the way to go. It is still fun to play on, but it is built better to work.
