Default recon front brake adjusting

There is a red rubber plug on the side of the drum, with the wheels on, it is within one of the rim slotted holes. Remove the plug, turn the wheel looking inside with a flashlight. On the foreward side with the hole at the 3 o'clock position you will notice the wheel cylinder. Turn the wheel a little and find the end of the wheel cylinder. One end has teeth on it, so if it isn't on the lower side try turning the wheel a little the other way and find the geared end of the wheel cylinder. Look closely at the cylinder right near the gear, there is an arrow on the side of the cylinder. That arrow points in the direction to adjust the brakes tighter. Take note there are two wheel cylinders per wheel. One at the 3 o'clock and one at the 9 o'clock position. The geared ends of these cylinders must be adjusted tha same amounts. So if you turn one 2 gear teeth do the same for the other. I usually move each two teeth distance in unisome until they both begin to feel snug, then I will back them off the equal of 3 to for teeth, the oposite way of the arrows, and the master cylinder will have near the factory travel. When you feel comfortable with the brake adjustment reinstall the rubber plug to prevent mousture from rusting movable parts, and hampering any brake work or adjustments further down the road.....
