Hi All!

Wasn't sure where to post this general question, but since I'm planning on purchasing a Rubicon, thought I'd start here.

Anyone here take their ATV to Mexico? I was thinking of towing mine down Baja and my question is: is a license required down there? Anything else I should be aware of?

Thanks.

If stopped by someone claiming to be a "Rurale," a Federal Policeman, who says, "We don't got to show you no stinkin' badges," watch out!

Forgive me, couldn't resist. I'd like to learn about ATV rules and regulations "South of the Border;" I hope you share your experiences.

I take my quad to Rocky Point, Mexico couple times out of the year, the only thing I take is the title to the bike, they usually ask for it at the border and thats it, hope this helps, laterz.

I wouldn't recommend taking anything down into mexico unless it's a big event and you keep everything locked up. I have had a couple of friends that have had their bikes stolen.

three laws, no guns, no drugs, or booze. If you dont abide by these, consider yourself to be in mexico for about a year or two.

-that is dont cross the border with any of them.
