Choke Cable Replacement
Sorry can't help ya much but my brother inlaw has had to replace the choke cable 2 times on his 93 300 4x4. I guess that is 1 advantage of my 300ex not having a choke cable. It would be alot easier if it had one though!

Choke Cable Replacement
Its pretty easy. It just takes a while. I think we ended up taking off the front rack and plastics, but we didnt have to. Take the airbox apart and see if you can get to the carb. Its pretty intuitive after that. Weaving it back through is a trick though. Shouldnt take more than a half hour/ hour.

Choke Cable Replacement
The easiest way is to remove the seat, side panels and fuel tank.

Choke Cable Replacement
it shouldn't be that hard to install......

Choke Cable Replacement
Pretty straight forward job. Pull the seat, side panels and snorkel (one plastic screw and one on the clamp). This makes it much easier to get at the plastic nut that screws into the carb. Then you can pull it out the right side.
