Will the mods please lock up this thread before it gets out of hand...and untouchables, I have seen that vid and the Cam mod YFZ also has a pipe and possibly other mods too.

In another thead i read that the 450r came out bad. Personally the yfz i rode today could dominate anything in its site. It did everything perfect. It even made mass mudding look easy beacuade it has such good accel

 

Just got back from rideing my Hon 450 R , put HRC kit in last night. Say what you want I'm so happy with it I could just sh##. I'm still waiting on my shocks, but with a few, AND I mean just a few clicks on the stock shocks I was running throw deep whoops with some 250 dirt bikes tap out in 3rd. I like the yz 450, and I rode one, but they where behind me today. Nobody really could stay close ,that includes 1 new 400ex ,3 660 raptors,4 yz 450,1 250R.They are both great machines, my honda did need some dialing in, and I'm adding a lot of after market stuff,but I'm glad I own one.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

wait you are saying a yz450 dirtbike couldn't keep up with you, are you on crack or just stupid?

 

Both probably. No HRC Honda is going to be a modded YFZ, let alone 4 of them.

 

Its possible that a good rider on the track can make all of the difference. He is just saying that if you ride well you can overcome the power loss to the yfz.

 

Easy killer. He probably meant yfz450, as in the quad. Dont jump all over someone so quickly. People make typing mistakes all the time.

 

i've ridden my friend's stock yfz a bunch of times, and today i got to ride some guy's 450R and i like the 450R better. it doesn't feel as zippy as the yfz but it seems to have more torque. also, i'm 6'1" and weigh 200lbs and i found the 450R to be much more confortable, and didn't have any problems with the kickstarter. for me, i'm gonna get the 450R
