I just put a set of 26x12x10 mudrunners on my stock wheels on my 4x2 rancher and went straight to the biggest mudhole I could find. The tire was awesome, The muck was so deep and gooey that I had to downshift to 1st....thats when things really got fun. Both tires were throwing mud clods the size of small tennis shoes all over the poor sap I was riding with. It was great!!! It also rode extremely well on the hard pack powerlines I was riding. Just thought I would write you guys to share this experience that had me grinning from ear to ear!!!!

00' 4x2 rancher, t1500 winch, 26x12 mudrunners!!

How much clearance do you have between the fender & your rear tire. I am looking to put 25" & possibly 26" tires on my Rancher without having to install a lift kit?

Where did you purchase the tires?

There should be plenty of clearance for 25s or 26s.

Snowshark---No, problem w/ the 26x12's. It's a little close at the front of the rear fender (closest to the floor board), but noproblem with the height. The only thing is you have to be in a low gear to go through the mud, to keep the rpms up, I got in one mud hole where the tires were grabbing so much mud it took dropping it into first gear to get the rpms up, but WOW when you did.

I got so lucky on the deal I got....The goodyear dealer quoted me $146/per tire (I told him to s@#K it!!) I then went to a dealer who had been stuck with the tire since last november and just wanted to get them off their inventory rack. They gave me both tires for $165.!!!!
