Are the new 450R's living up to the hype?
 

Now that the initial hype has died down and these quads are showing up in riding areas have they proved to be all that? I don't follow racing very closely but it seems like the recent results and popularity have favored the YFZ. Not bashing, just curious.

true man...every race i see its like 8 yfzs 1 zuki (gust) and 2-3 450rs

I don't really care about all the hype. I don't race and don't plan to. I'm 46 years old and bought my 450R in February. I love it! I really don't mind the kick start, and who needs reverse? The power is awesome. I may be biased because I love Hondas and their proven reliablity. Yamaha owners are just as biased toward their Y's and I can't fault them for that. It's all what you prefer. I just prefer Hondas. Getting into arguments about which is better is stupid.

seems it takes a year to see where things land. word is suzuki is on the way with a 450 if it turns out to edge out the other two what then.
