Hi all , I have a 03 Rubicon with 1000 miles . Been having a problem with the battery i thought. Sometimes it wont crank like the batterys dead, but now with the battery fully charged it cranks so slow like the batterys dead and then i need to reset the clock. i have checked all the connections, they look good. it starts first pull with the rope, runs great ,shifts fine, all modes, lites are brite. im just a dumb carpenter but i havent tried my hammer yet. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS

dont do that or you'll blow up your battery.
it sounds like your battery is week.
do you ride it lots or dose it sit for weeks at a time.
my freind has an 03 rubicon and he let it sit over the winter and in the spring it wouldent start.
so he charged it up and it did the same as yours it turned over very slowly so he put in a new battery and it works fine now.
seams it just dident have enuff juice even with a charge it seamed slow.

sweet.
they are a huge improvement over the stock ones.
the lift kid made a differance also.
back to the battery.
my freind got his in september and parked in november and when he tryed to start it in march it was dead as a door nail.
i've herd that if its gonna sit for more then a couple of weeks you should disconect the battery.
because it has a clock and and other things that cause a slow drain on the system.

A motorcycle\atv battery is one of the few things that last longer the more you use it. If you aren't using the machine, or are using infrequently, you need to charge the battery every few weeks if the weather is hot, every five weeks or so in the winter (batteries discharge faster the warmer it is).
