I got that out of the shop manual. It is worth the $40 for the detail.

Txdoc2, I tried the start in gear feature and it works great. I also played around to see if the front differential works as it is supposed to. I went on some small hills and got one front wheel off the ground. If I would blip the throttle, the wheel with the most traction would kick in and spin, then they both would. I think this might be where the problems on the Ranchers is coming in, you have to give it enough throttle to engage the other wheel. Then I hooked to a drag back in the garden and worked inbetween the rows of potatoes. I set the drag as deep as I could, but still couldn't get the Ruby to spin out. I would stop and then blip the throttle, and all fours would dig every time. When this drag would be set to its deepest setting, the 450ES would spin out a lot of times, or would just scratch the whole way. The Ruby didn't scratch for traction at all. Then I thought I would do the ultimate test: put it up on a jack and hold one front wheel. This was the same thing. If the throttle would be just over an idle only one front wheel would spin, and the one I was holding would just stay put. If I would rev it up a bit, it would jerk the wheel right out of my arm. A few times doing this and I was convinced that Honda's new front differential works, and works great.

Rubicon reboot procedure - Press and hold the Ctrl and Alt keys and press the Delete key twice.

This is not meant bash anyone's ATV. This attemt at humor just popped in my head as soon as I read the statement about the "Rubicon reboot procedure" from TexMud. Working with computers everyday helps too.

Yeah, I am a computer person too. When I copied that out of TxDoc2's post, I put the Rubicon Reboot phrase in my email to my house. I thought it was funny so I posted it here too. Not sure if there are any NT fans out there but what would a "blue screen of death" look like on the Rubi?

With the screen of death a reboot, then run Norton's and then defrag!

Nice BSOD! Now send your memory dump to Microsoft so they can analyze it.
