Rancher width, website wrong?

The Foreman is listed at 45.3. My Foreman is all of the width at the rear fenders. I think the tires are a little wider. Especially at the bottom where it's pressed down because of the weight. It's not looking too good. You could always build a platform on top of the existing frame or railing. If it has a railing, you could store things under the quad.

Hi If you built a platform out of 2x4 and ply wood would it be strong enough to hold the wheeler ? The reason I ask is I was thinking of making my 4 x 8 utility trailer into a 6 x 8 by building wood frame onto the existing trailer and then covering it with plywood so I could pull both wheelers at once...can this be done ?

I guess we don't have to many new rancher owners yet and personal preference I like the old look but things keep on changing.
I still say call the dealership where your going to buy and I bet the will measure it for you.

You considering a 2X4 or 4X4? They have different tires, so the width might be a little different. This is a bike that greatly benefits from some lighter aftermarket tires and rims. I have Holeshot ATR's on some sweet old and very light Magnum rims. Widens the bike something like 4".

Are the wheels that heavy, its a 4X4. I plan on putting some 25" tires that are somewhat widder than the stock ones. I was thinking about 10" front and 12" back. So this would probobly make it widder to.
