Sand Tires for 400EX
#11
I have a set of 8 paddle Haulers- 20X10X10- which work great for me. They are very light weight compared to other sand tires; mounted on Douglas Ultimate billet wheels, they actually weigh less than the stock tire & wheel. One negative thing about the staight paddle is their behavior when power sliding. There is a point when power sliding where they will beak free suddenly and dramatically. Another thing, if you use a fold-up ramp to load your atv, you need to watch out for cuts that the ramp makes in the paddles.

Here's the URL for Chaparral

That is also their phone number. If you can't find what you need at the website, call them. What the hell, it's free.

I don’t think they even make SandSkate I’s anymore but I could be wrong. They do not have them in either Chaparral or Rocky Mountain. Do you know what the difference is between the I’s and II’s? I run the Skat-Trak 8 paddle Haulers (straight paddle) but was thinking of switching to the 8 paddle Edge (V-shaped). With my style of riding I would rather have the maneuverability of the V-shape than the hill climb and drag race ability of the straight paddle. I have the Haulers because they came with my 400EX.
