I was looking at mudlites or bearclaws for the 250ES Recon, but the 9" and 11" rims seem very unpopular in size, as are the stock tire sizes. I don't need anything too radical, but what size tires fit, and where can ya find a deal on a set of alum rims and tires???

 

haven't any of you recon owners switched tires and wheels? did you have to change rim size to a bolt pattern that still works?

okay, thanks. i just can't seem to match the stock sizes, but if there's a different wheel size/ same bolt pattern or something, I'll look at it. ALSO, i didn't want to rule out re-using my old rims, but the tire sizes I see seem way off, especially the fronts.

i only got my recon in late september, and the tires are just like new witht he lil nipplys on em. but i just found out my uncle is getting me 4 new tires of my choice for christmas. what should i get?
