TRX 250 EX good for 13 year old???
It will be great for you. I just bought one last week for my 12 year old daughter. She still has her raptor 80 that she is real comfortable with. I was really amazed how quick and responsive it is. It sure will Wheelie once you get the hang of it. You'll love it.

My buddy has a 250EX as a backup quad among his many machines. I still take it out sometimes(over larger bikes) because it is so much fun to ride in the tight trails here in PA. It literally feels like it's on rails when you're flying through the trails.
I gave it the name "mountain goat" because you can put it in 1st or 2nd gear and it will climb any hill(hard packed) easier than any of the larger bikes. It just tractors up the hills with no wheel spin or anything.
I'm 26 and 5'8, 200lbs, and it will pull my butt with no problem. I may be a bit stronger than you but this machine is pretty tossable in the trails, even for a smaller rider.
The suspension is a bit crappy(super stiff) but that is to be expected on a machine like this. I have to hammer myself and the bike when trying to keep up with my friend on his 440EX.
The combination of a 5 speed auto clutch/electric start/reverse/light weight/shaft drive, make this a very fun quad that you will almost never have to work on.
You can literally ride it hard and put it away wet. When it's time for the next ride, it will fire up and beg for more.
Great little bike IMO.

Dont let them fool you, the 250ex is plenty fast! I purchased one for my godsons 13th birthday this past august. It is super fast and gets faster and stronger the more he rides it. It easily outruns my Foreman 450 with the performance kit and he stuck right on the heels of a friends Suzuki 500 Vinson all day long. We put a set of ITP C5 wheels and one size taller Mudlite tires all around for Christmas. This thing is unstoppable. Wheelies anytime he wants to and he is always at the front of the pack..This thing is fast enough to get scarey in a lot of situations. Get one and have the time of your life!
