well.. anyways guys... i stopped in at the polaris dealership today to check out the predators they had... they had an 05 TLD edition there... it was pretty freakin sweet up close. after a good inspection of it for myself and talking a guy that owns and races one, i am going to stick with the predator on this one. *Unless a find a heck of a deal on something else* how much hp are these things crankin out anyways? i figure they have quite a bit of power but i dont really know the exact hp ratings... i have heard that they are around 50-55hp.. but im not sure this is accurate. anywyas i want to thank everyone in this thread other than ltz for the info they had in helping me make this decision.. thanks guys. now if i could just get daddy to give me a raise in my allowence i could buy one quicker! They are 38-42 stock at the rear wheels, and they are 50 at the crank. You will be happy with the Predator.

i have a 400ex and the 450r both awesum in there own way. the 400ex is great in the trails, on the other hand the 450r just cant handle it . it just wants to go fast. thry both take really good beatings and they run great. i was talkin to my uncle who has a 450r and he changed the sprockets and he sed its great in the woods now. if i was gonna buy anything if i was on a budget i wood go with a used rappy prob an 03 to get ridd of the gear problem. i wood def go with a good pipe,k&n airfliter with outerwear. and i would drill
2 inch and 1/2 holes then six 3/8th holes . runs awesum i did it to my friends for him. he keeps up with me on my 450r and smokes the ex. go with the rappy u could prob do all that for about 4000. good luck with wut ever u choose

 

Proof About the Predator being faster than the rappy, and the Z400.

alright LTZ guy,, there is your proof that the predator will beat the Z400 and it doesnt stand a chance with it... the article also says the Raptor is slower than the pred when in stock form... btw, this was a 2003 predator they tested... so the new ones are even faster.
