Does anyone have pics of a 400EX with cut fenders? A friend of mine wants me to cut his plastic and I need some ideas.

Thanks guys. NCGuy, are your fenders cut, or is that maier plastic? It looks like maier, full bore plastic.

 

I had white fullbore plastic, but i put the red back on and cut the fenders. I will post the new pics in my proflie later today.

That looks good man, the hole bike looks good!!! Did you not like the front end lowered? I'll definitely use those pics to show him, if you don't mind. I'm not sure if he wants that much cut off, but I'll show him. I think you gotta either leave them stock or cut them all the way off, but thats just my opinion. I think he just wants a little protection from the mud, which I don't blaim him. I get covered when I ride the 250r, it sucks big time especially when its cold. I think mines a lot worse though, because the rear fenders are cut too.

 

Yeah man that's fine, and i liked it lowered, but i got in a real bad wreck 3 weeks ago, i busted my left hand up pretty bad. So i took the lowering kit off for now(bc it rides hard when it's lowered, and hurts my hand like hell) that way i can still ride, but just not as crazy. And yeah, about the fenders thing, i tryed to just cut a lil bit off but it didnt look right, so i just said the heck with it and chopped the mess outta them. It took me some time but i finally got them both even. Im happy with the new look, i am also glad that i could help.

 

Yeah man, it looks sick. And even with the fenders race cut like that, it doesnt even matter because it is so wide, and the water and dirt is gonna come off the front wheels and not fly in your face like most people think. Just always wear your googles just in case..lol
