My friend owns two 450's and ive road them. Very nice and more power than the 400ex. How much do you think i could get out of my 400ex? How would a 400ex with a jet, pipe, and k&n airfilter do against a stock 450?

I race flat track. I ran my 440 for a season and could not get hoked up as I did on the 450 in 3 races. People complain about the 450r heigth but, I don't notice it. I used the same lowering kits and tires. I did have a different sway bar, but I'm not sure that was the difference.
As far as dumping a 400 to get a 450 I don't know if I would. I am lucky enough to have both. If you said I had to lose one, I would not be able to pick. I would prolly quit riding. I did sell a Banshee for the 450r and that was a good choice.
